As you may have already heard or seen on social media, the Rochester Regional
Health Flower City Challenge is coming back on June 19th & 20th! While the
event will look quite a bit different in 2021, then it has in years past, we
are so excited to bring more live races back to the Rochester running
calendar.
These are some of the ways that 2021 will look different than previous years,
the start and finish lines will be in Genesee Valley Park at the request of
the City of Rochester, and the event will be split over 2 days allowing you
to choose your race day. In keeping with our COVID-19 guidelines, these
include: masks must be worn at the start/finish, post-race food will be in
prepackaged grab & go bags. There will not be any spectators and there
will be multiple start waves for you to choose from to allow for social
distancing.
The below option will be available
starting Monday, April 19th, at NOON!
If you participated in the Flower City Challenge VIRTUAL race back in
October 2020, you will receive a 21% discount on your 2021 race entry!
In order to claim this discount, you MUST register via the link that
we will email to you on Monday, April 19, before NOON. This email will
come from Runsignup, NOT YellowJacket Racing, and may go to your spam/junk
folder or your promotions folder if you use Gmail, so please check there!
The ONLY way to claim your 21% off
discount, is to register via that link that we are sending on Monday before
noon.

• Registration will close at 11:59pm on June 1st!
• Registration for the half marathon and 5K will be open to the general
public, so encourage your friends/family to join you!
• If you prefer, there are virtual options for both the half marathon and 5K.
